What Is Mens Work?

Let's keep this simple.

This concept of "Mens Work" is begging to grow and spread, slowly.

That said, the term is getting a lot of attention, and it doesn't exactly describe what's going on...

Is mens work running around naked in the forest doing mushrooms? Maybe...

Is it painting our faces and screaming primal chants at the top of our lunch's? ... perhaps

Is it sitting around a fire, sharing our deepest darkest secrets and not making fun of eachother?

Sure.

Is it also everything from zoom calls to beach games to workouts, to networking.... yeah!

It's not exactly a straight forward answer, because mens work is still being defined by the activites that make it up.

So what is Mens Work?

Mens Work is a path. It's a decision to choose community over isolation. Its a dedication to self exploration, leadership, and Love. It's a devotion to knowing oneself & living in ever deepening alignment with that. It's a commitment to choosing growth & healing over comfortably suffering.

So how come every man hasn't encountered mens work? Why isn't every guy doing that?...

Short answer, this shit is not easy.

It's confronting

It's uncomfortable

And it requires change, growth, unlearning, and pushing up against all kinds of edges!

When does a man know he's ready for men's work?

We'll... typically:

They're suffering in some way. A rock bottom moment will usually invite a man to men's work, whether that be in a difficult partnership, a relationship ending, experiencing daily loneliness, financially up against the fence, freightening health challenges... you name it, men are in pain and they're sick of trying carry it alone.

That said, it can also be for you if you just want community,

You desire to be a better man.

You don't wanna hit rock bottom.

You like to grow, to experience more love, more trust, more freedom... this is for you!

take a second, and remember that you don't have to do this alone!

Men, listen up, we are in pain and we're bleeding out on the world around us!

Not ok.

This is why we need mens work! Mens work gives us the community and the resources to heal, to grow, and ultimately to develop into the greatest expression of who we're means to be, who we are at our core, and from there, go out into the world and serve powerfully as strong & loving masculine role models! Protectors, Lovers, Providers, & Leaders.
